Meet Our Team

Dr. David Wright has been in the veterinary field for the better part of 4 decades . He graduated from the University of Ohio in 1975 and opened Wright Veterinary Service, giving quality care to animals from all over Wisconsin.

Dr. Wright-Waldschmidt graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Upon graduating, she started a yearlong internship at VCA Aurora and Berwyn in Illinois fine tuning her skills. After completing her internship, she practiced emergency medicine and surgery at Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, Wisconsin for two years. She subsequently moved into private practice for small animal medicine and surgery working part time at Wright Veterinary Service since 2012 and Northside Animal Hospital since 2016.

Dr. Lea Ann Bleck graduated from UW-Madison in 1996 and started working at Wright Veterinary Service upon graduation. At that time the clinic offered small and large animal services. She also was a small animal veterinarian at Kettle Moraine Veterinary Clinic in Plymouth, WI for 3 years before returning to Wright Veterinary Service as a small animal practitioner.

Debbie started in 2000 learning to be a part of surgery and take appointments. She has since worked her way up to office manager and is responsible for much of what keeps the clinic successful and organized. Her compassion for animals is the reason she is also a caretaker for our clinic cats on days the office is closed.

Brianna started here in 2014. She graduated from Madison Area Technical College in 2008, getting her associates degree in Applied Science, and became a Certified Veterinary Technician. 

Jamie started here in 2021. She started in the Veterinary Medicine field in 2010. She graduated from San Juan College in 2014 getting her associates degree in Applied Science. She became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2014. 

Abbi started in August of 2023 and has been gaining experience in the veterinary field by working in surgery and doing appointments. She is currently attending San Juan Technical College and working toward getting her degree as a Certified Veterinary Technician. 

Emersyn started mid-2024 helping with appointments and reception. She is currently attending Fox Valley Tech College to become a certified technician. Emersyn also helps care for pets at Fond du Lac Humane Society.

Kenley started in October 2025. She's worked in veterinary clinics across the midwestern region since 2020.

Ally started in summer of 2024 and is working on her youth apprenticeship through her high school. Once she graduates high school she will be going to school to become a veterinarian.

Chloe has been working with us in the summer since mid 2025. She is currently attending UW River Falls for her undergraduate, and planning to attend veterinary school to be a veterinarian. 

Shawna has been a part of our team since November of 2022, keeping our paperwork organized and acting as the main source of communication between our team and our clients.

Ericka has been part of our team since April of 2026, keeping our paperwork organized and acting as the main source of communication between our team and clients.

Cody has been working here since 2021 as a kennel attendant and is now helping with keeping files organized and surgical instruments maintained. Our clinic cats love receiving a good portion of their food and pets from him.
